Solution #334: Image Builder
Featuring: AFBA- Serving You Since 1947
Client: Armed Forces Benefit Association
The Idea:Develop a new Video Brochure that would highlight the nearly sixty years of service to the Armed Forces and explain the scope of the organization's offerings to new and potential members.
The Challenge:Modernize the look of the program without losing the history and style of the organization, and showcase the distinct divisions of the organization, including one based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Through a carefully crafted script, VIDSOL Media recommended having the leaders of the different business units deliver key, personable messages about the AFBA difference and how they help their members improve their lives with AFBA benefits. In addition to these comments, each division's offices and staff were shown hard at work for their members. Additional scenes were specifically filmed on location in AFBA's 5 Star Bank in Colorado Springs showing how the Teller Operations, their loan officers talking with customers, as well as showing their on-line banking presence serving the rest of the members nationwide. To help bridge the past with the present, VIDSOL decided to draw upon our Stock Footage research and collecting capabilities. Since the organization was originally started in 1947with the help of General Eisenhower, we wanted to show the General in action rather than settling for traditional static photographs. So, Video Solutions went to the National Archives to garner film footage of the General in his prime talking to his troops. As part of the new modern services of AFBA, the organization has expanded its service beyond the Armed Forces to other Government Employees, Public Servants, and First Responders. Therefore, we represented all of these groups through the use of stock footage, as well as, from the footage we shot specifically for AFBA. Through color correction, we were able to make all the footage harmonious and appear to all belong together as a cohesive unit. To tie it all together, a very distinctive central narrator was selected to deliver the entire message
